- Modular all-weather high precision stand-off weapon with more than 500 km range
- Main targets: Hard and Deeply Buried Targets (HDBTs), bunkers, bridges, runways, ships in port, shelters, aircraft on ground, SAM-sites
- Today’s one and only Programmable Intelligent Multi-Purpose Fuze (PIMPF) enables detonation of the TAURUS KEPD 350 Penetrator at pre-selected floors within the target through layer counting and void sensing technology
- Worldwide only system achieving high precision over large distances without GPS
Programme Status
- In service with the German Tornado IDS
- Spanish contract for procurement and F/A-18 integration signed in 2005
- In production for the German and Spanish Air Force
- Eurofighter integration planned by Germany and Spain
